Day off

(MH asleep in a handknit sweater in a basket of sale yarn during the Knit Nook's last season. If you have a baby, a handknit sweater, and a shit ton of yarn, it's only a matter of time before you start playing Anne Geddes.)

The weather sucks. I feel a cold coming on. When I woke up this morning, all of my maternity clothes were in the wash but the stuff in the dryer was still damp. And I was just like, "Fuck it. I'm going back to bed."

I'm taking today off.

But instead of doing hilarious hijinks like stealing your best friend's dad's sweet ride and crashing a parade, etc, I'm gonna not get dressed, grade some papers, and fold some laundry. I might get real crazy this afternoon and go grocery shopping! My life is a WILD RIDE, letmetellya.

And everybody, thanks for giving me your two cents about my post yesterday. I still haven't figured it out, but I've got some time. This weekend my plan is to watch this and read this, so maybe these two things will fight it out in my brain and I'll wake up Monday morning knowing EXACTLY what to do.

More likely, Scully will show up in the dream and do a kick ass alien autopsy, and I'll wake up even more confused because WHAT IS THE TRUTH?!
